About this Event
About 1 in 5 Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training will teach you practical skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness or crisis.
MHFA training will teach you practical skills designed to help people who may not have any medical or mental health training, but who want to be able to help someone in need. Our Mental Health First Aid course is nationally recognised and delivered in small groups at our Caboolture training centre by a certified MHFA instructor.
Learn how to provide initial help to someone who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
