Become a Legacy Collector

The Booker Homes Legacy Project is looking for volunteers to help preserve the history of the Granite Mountain Housing Project, Granite Heights, and Apollo Terrace.
As a Legacy Collector, you'll help ensure that the voices of our community are never lost.
Legacy Collectors will interview former residents, record oral histories, scan family photographs, identify people and places in old pictures, and help preserve the memories that tell the true story of our community.
No experience is necessary. We'll provide guidance, interview questions, and training on how to conduct respectful, meaningful interviews. If you enjoy listening to people, asking questions, and helping preserve history, we'd love to have you on our team.
Whether you can interview one person or twenty, every story you help preserve becomes part of our community's legacy.
Together, we'll make sure future generations know not only where Booker Homes was, but what it meant to the people who called it home.
