Become a Home Inspector in Florida

Class sizes will be limited, and COVID-safe protocols will remain in place until further notice. This includes limiting indoor seating capacity and attendance, wearing face masks, and social distancing.

This 5-day training is for anyone new in the home inspection business or an experienced inspector looking to enhance their skills. You will be guided through the House of Horrors®, an entire house with over 1,000 defects, by Certified Master Inspectors. This hands-on training will help prepare you for your home inspection certification. 

• have experienced inspecting the House of Horrors®, an entire house with 1,000 defects built under our roof;
• have obtained 40 hours of training towards your 120 hours of required licensing (FL Students);
• be networking with other inspectors;
• practicing writing home inspection reports;
• performing inspections at the House of Horrors®;
• have the opportunity to test-drive home inspection tools; and
• be given the chance to win special prizes. 

Please note that the state exam is not offered during this training.  The exam may be offered by the class instructors at an additional cost. Membership is not included with class purchase.

Students seeking to gain and develop their knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform a home inspection and to attain a Home Inspector Program Certificate of Completion may enroll in InterNACHI's online Home Inspector Certificate Program.
