Become a Healer- A six month Accredited Course with the CMA

Martin & Libby Herdman are delighted to be offering a six-month healing course.

This is held at the sanctuary one weekend a month for six months.

At the end of the course, you will have developed the basic skills and understanding a healer needs to start the journey into helping others. The course is intense and very much fun with some work in-between each session. The course requires an openness of self-reflection. We cannot begin to heal others until we heal ourselves. The course is also very hands on, you will be practising healing on others and learning very quickly how to connect with this work.

As this is a very practical teaching Martin and Libby limit these courses to a maximum of ten people.

During the five weekends Martin and Libby will share with you the many forms of healing that they have collectively experienced over a 30-year span of study and practice.

Regular contact in between weekends will be supported by Martin and Libby. Practice and study will be given between each session. This is a great way to learn and put into practice the knowledge that you have gained.

During the course, you will learn:

• Chair healing
• Distant healing
• Couch healing
• Hands on healing
• Hands off healing
• Tandem healing (two healers working together)
• Meditation techniques
• The basics of shamanic healing
• The basic Function of the Wheel of Life ( Medicine wheel)
• Pranayama (breath work)
• The use and function of mandalas
• The use and function of the fire ceremony
• Understanding the chakra system
• The importance of grounding and attuning

You will also learn about the importance of vibration and sound healing with gongs, shamanic drumming, sound bowls, and many other forms of sound healing.

Most importantly you will study and learn how to make a connection to the source of the healing energy. This is a powerful form of grounding and attuning to the spirit world, without which all the knowledge you may have would be of no use.

Libby and Martin intend that during your time with them, you will be regularly mentored and helped through this course with humor, love, support, and care. The outcome will be that in a relatively short space of time, we will send out more healers into the world with the tools to make a change. The path of the healer is not easy however If you have ever wanted to be a healer, or sometimes wondered what your purpose was in this life - Then this training is for you.

It is Martin and Libby’s intention that after this course you will have the confidence to start your journey into making this world a better, healthier, and more peaceful place to live.

We also offer a monthly Healers Share to all our students. This will support your ongoing healing journey for yourself and others.
