Join us this festive season as we get ready for Christmas! On arrival you’ll be met by our workshop elves who are getting ready for Christmas, each child will have the chance to decorate their own Christmas decoration ‘with plenty of sparkles’ to put on their tree at home.Next, you’ll ready your wellies and take part in our Christmas trail, this year will be Owl’s Winter Woodland. (Bring a pencil!) On your return to the Visitor Centre don’t forget to visit our special guest Father Christmas in his grotto, where you will receive a gift!
As an extra treat tokens will be provided for a FREE babycino from the Beechwood Kitchen for all booked on children.

What you need to know?
We advise that this experience is suitable for children 2 to 9 years of age. However, if your child is below the age of 2 and you would like to book them on, they are more than welcome to attend but the presents are aimed at children 2 – 9 years. Please note as part of the activity you will be taking part in the woodland trail and the walk may be tiring for little legs. We advise bringing a sturdy push chair that can manage the woodland terrain
To avoid disappointment please make sure you have booked a ticket for each child who will be taking part in the experience. During the booking process please provide the name and age of each child who will be partaking in the experience. Younger siblings (babies & young infants) who are not partaking in the experience are welcome to attend
If you have a furry family member you would like to bring along for the walk please do. However, dogs are unable to come into the elves workshop or Father Christmas’ Grotto. Please be mindful of other park users when doing the Christmas trail with your dog
As part of the experience, you will be able to take part in the Owl’s Winter woodland Trail. You will be provided with a trail booklet (only) as part of this experience you will not receive the toy or craft that comes with the standard trail offer. Please remember to bring a pencil.
Adult supervision required at all times. There is no charge for any attending adults
Each booked child will receive one Christmas decoration to decorate in the elves workshop and one gift from Father Christmas
On arrival, please head to the visitor centre with a copy of your booking
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked date/time slot as we are unable to move people around if you are late. During festive season the car park can become quite busy especially during weekends. Please allow plenty of time to find a parking space
Part of the experience is based outdoors please make sure all who are attending are suitably dressed (e.g. raincoats, welly boots or walking boots). Terrain is uneven and there are mild inclines in parts of the trail
