Let It Be Us offers a series of virtual educational events on topics surrounding Foster Care and Adoption in the State of Illinois. Our Live Foster Parent Recruitment Events are the in-person portion of this series.

Thinking about becoming a Foster Family? Not sure where to start?
Join us on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Central Illinois Friends Community Center for an evening hosted by Let It Be Us, partnering with The Children’s Home and Central Illinois Friends. This casual, welcoming event will give you the chance to learn more about:

• Becoming a licensed foster family
• The process and the requirements to become a licensed foster family
• The need for families to support all youth in foster care of all ages, genders, and LGBTQ+ youth in Peoria, Woodford, and Tazewell Counties.
