Supergen Bioenergy Hub-IEA joint workshop: BECCS and BECCUS for net-negative emission technologies

This joint workshop, organised by the Supergen Bioenergy Hub and IEA (International Energy Agency) Bioenergy Task 33, will bring together academic researchers, industry practitioners, policymakers and other stakeholders to critically assess BECCS and BECCUS (bioenergy with carbon capture, utilisation and storage) technology pathways leading to net‑negative emissions, identify barriers to deployment, and explore opportunities for research, collaboration and technology scale‑up. The workshop will also provide an overview of Supergen's hydrogen-BECCUS and gasification projects and technology development.
