Registration will begin at 7:30 Am on the River walk and the race will officially start at 9 am. After the race, join us for a day of Suicide Awareness, sharing our loved one’s stories as well as our own struggles through this disease.
The day will consist of:
*Inspiring talks by local mental health experts
*Interactive workshops for practical tips
*Booths offering tools & creating community
*Supportive community discussions
*Mindfulness and relaxation sessions
*Resources for continued support
Who was Beau?
"Beau was our protector, our comedian, and our rock. A man of nature and a man of the people, he dedicated his life to his family and his community with a ferocity that was unmatched. Though he fought an incredibly brave and diligent battle against the disease of mental illness, he is now at rest. We remember the 'mamas boy' with the infectious laugh, the hardworking father, and the brother who would give anyone his last belonging. His light remains undimmed in the hearts of those he loved."Beau lived his life with a dedication that inspired everyone around him. From his active role in the community to his tireless work as a provider and family man, he gave 110% to everything he touched. This was especially true in his private journey; Beau was a warrior who did 'all the right things' in his battle with mental health, seeking the best care and working harder than
most could imagine to find peace.
Who is BWMHM? (Beau Wilder Mental Health Movement)
We are members of your community that loved Beau and/or have suffered or have watched a love one suffer from this disease. We believe NO ONE STRUGGLES ALONE and we are here to walk alongside you.
Our Mission-
To walk alongside those impacted by suicide and mental health struggles by providing financial aid, emotional support, and resource navigation, while fostering a judgment-free community dedicated to awareness and healing. To help support those right here, in our community.
All funds raised stay in the Lowell/Saranac Communities
