Beat the Winter Blues Bird & Cat Workshop
This is a wonderful opportunity to explore glassmaking in our state-of-the-art studio where it’s warm and toasty. You’ll make your own colorful and unique glass bird or cat from 2000-degree molten glass with the help of our studio artists.
We perform a demo of all the steps, introduce you to the tools you’ll be using, and explain the safety guidelines. After the introduction, you will pick your colors from a delightfully wide array of choices. When it’s your turn you will hold the steel rod, turn the glass, and use artisan tools while sitting at the glass-making bench. So much fun, and like nothing you have ever done before! Watch the glass turn from liquid to solid right before your eyes.
