Don’t let the hot weather catch you off guard! Join us as we discuss simple, effective strategies to help your livestock stay healthy, comfortable, and productive during the hottest months of the year. All attendees will automatically be entered for a chance to win livestock supply items donated by local businesses!
Agenda
- 2:00pm-3:00pm: heat stress prevention and management strategies with CUCES Area Livestock & Forages Agent Sydney Rentz
- 3:00pm-4:00pm: summer forages and pasture management with CUCES Area Livestock & Forages Agent Hannah Conover.
At the conclusion of the workshop, we will be giving away prizes to a few lucky winners, including a basket of supplies to help your livestock manage the heat!
