Beat Maker Lab - Guildford
About this Event
Get creative with sound in this hands-on music workshop led by Surrey Arts, Surrey’s leading provider of music activities, in celebration of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge and its theme, ‘Read to the Beat’. Using digital music tech, children will experiment with rhythm, record their own sounds and build an original track.
Key Booking Information:
- The event is aimed at children aged 8 to 11 years old
- The event starts at 11am and will run for up to an hour
- Tickets are available with a donation (Suggested donation is £3 per child attending)
- Please book ONE ticket PER CHILD attending. If you have two children who want to attend, you will need to book two separate tickets.
- Adults must stay in the library for the length of the session
Surrey Arts Eventbrite – Refund Policy
- If a customer cancels 4 days before the event, they will receive a refund minus Eventbrite fees.
- If a customer cancels within 4 days of the event, then no refund will be given.
- If we cancel or postpone, then a full refund will be given, or an alternative date offered.
Surrey Arts Eventbrite – Privacy Notice
Surrey Arts use Eventbrite for the sole purpose of event management and ticket sales. We do not share this data with any other internal/external partners or organisations. The data captured is to allow us to assign tickets, manage waiting list, provide refunds, and contact ticket holders in case there are any changes to the event, and we do not use this data for any other purposes. Data is held for the duration of the ticket process and waiting list management and then deleted.

Event Terms and Conditions
- We recommend if you or a member of your household are displaying symptoms, or if you or a member of your household have tested positive for Covid-19, you do not attend the event.
- Please provide contact information in case the event is cancelled at short notice.
- Please bring or show your ticket when you come to the event.
- If there are any concerns throughout the session, alert a member of staff staff immediately.
- Please be respectful to other attendees and use appropriate language and behaviour throughout the session.
- If you are unable to attend, please cancel your booking so the ticket can be released for someone else.
