Beasts From The East Stand-Up Comedy Tour - Kitchener/Waterloo

DK Phan is coming to your city to share stories of his Vietnamese-Canadian upbringing. As one of the very few Vietnamese stand-up comedians in country, DK graces the stage with an amicable demeanor that puts you at ease as he delivers relatable down to earth writing with a subtle edge to it. His acute observations come off clean but are by no means friendly and has earned him time on Rogers TV, Absolute Comedy and Yuk Yuks stages, as well as a gala taping for CBC's Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

Azfar Ali has been entertaining crowds with his unique improv style of comedy. He has been featured on CBC’s LOL Radio show, performed across North America and the Caribbean, co-hosted a Radio show and hosts the wildly popular comedy show “Immigrants with Attitude ''. Renee Groux has been entertaining in the best comedy spots across Ontario since she was just 19! Now at 27, she is the co-producer of Fever Dream Comedy in Kitchener-Waterloo, has appeared at Don't Tell Comedy, the Guelph Comedy Festival, Hillside Festival, and the 2022 Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. She is also the co-host of 93.3 CFRU's hit comedy talk-show "Worst Responders". Whether on stage or over the airwaves, Renee promises to get silly (and probably gross!) and bring the laughs.

Nina Phan is a rising star in Toronto's comedy scene with a darkly humorous deadpan style. Based out of Toronto, she has performed at The Comedy Lab, Comedy Bar, Yuk Yuk's, and The Royal Theatre, winning over audiences with her edgy charm. Drawing from her own life experiences, Nina fearlessly explores the darker side of comedy, delivering laughs that are both sharp and relatable. Her candid and authentic approach has quickly made Nina a comedian to watch out for.
