Join us on a trip to Bear Island on the Ferry from Hammocks Beach State Park. We will dock at the bear island ferry landing location, walk about a half a mile and stop to enjoy the beach, yoga, food, compose a Mandala on the beach, and enjoy each other and the ocean. The cost is $40 preregistration is required. Cost of Ferry is included. Space is limited so lock in your spot.
A golf cart is available for students that require assistance on the walk from the Ferry to the Beach.
We will take the first ferry at 9:30 AM- please arrive by 9:15 AM. We plan on leaving on the 1:30 ferry but you are welcome to leave or stay any time. The ferry runs hourly.
Bring Sunscreen - a dish or snack to share, your beach gear (towels, shade, chair etc. as you require it)
For yoga, you may want a large towel or sheet to practice on.
Bring plenty of water. There are bathrooms and concessions on the island so if you want ice cream, cold beverages or other, they are for sale. If you want to bring natural items to add to the Mandala construction, bring them with you.
