Thanks to the funding from the National Lottery Community Fund Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day Trip to
Beamish
Friday 23rd August
9.30am - 4pm
Join us for an action packed day going back in time to the world famous open air museum Beamish. Telling the story of life in North East England during the 1820s, 1900s, 1940s and 1950s.
There is so much to see and do from visiting the 1900's Town and Pit Village to the 1940's & 1950's Farms and the Rowley train station.
Go back to school and try out some playground games, Visit the Pit pony stables and also take a trip down the Mahogany Drift Mine. You can also pick up some traditional sweets at the Jubilee Confectioners Sweet Shop.
There are plenty of eateries to pick up lunch (**Not included in the price of day trip**)
Group Rates:
Adults: £19.75
Senior/Student: £17.50
Child 5-16 years: £11.75
Child 2-4 years: £5.00
Under 2's FREE (No seat, sit on parents lap)
An Adult is a person aged from 17 years to 59 years (inclusive).
A Child is a person aged from 5 years to 16 years (inclusive). Children under the age of 14 will not be admitted without an adult.
A Senior is a person aged 60 years or over.
A Student is an Adult who holds any type of valid photographic identity card showing they are a student in full time education.
***(Please note these are single entry day tickets and can be only used on the assigned date of the 23rd Aug 2024 and not valid or any other date)***
The coach will leave Marsden Road Community Centre, Horsley Hill, NE34 6RE at 9.30am and arrive back at approx. 4pm
Please arrive no later than 9.15am for a prompt departure at 9.30am
