Andre Lema, Manager - Business Development Manager, Western Archrib
Andre Lema, a seasoned professional in the wood industry, brings decades of experience and expertise. Starting as a carpenter and advancing through a degree in Construction Engineering at NAIT, Andre has been instrumental in driving the success of Western Archrib. His passion for wood and dedication to fostering client relationships have made him a key figure in the industry.

Alejandro Coronado, Technical Advisor, WoodWorks BC
Alejandro brings a breadth of experience having worked throughout the design and construction industry in contractor, supplier, and consulting engineering roles. Alejandro holds both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction in Civil Engineering from BCIT, specializing in structural engineering. Initially involved in single-family homes, Alejandro worked his way through the industry to eventually work on state-of-the-art, high-profile projects such as the Centre Block Base Isolation at Parliament Hill, the UBC Museum of Anthropology Great Hall Renewal Project, Royal BC Museum PARC Campus, and a mass timber campus in Silicon Valley. He was initially attracted to Mass Timber for to its unique architectural expression. However, he quickly expanded his understanding of how Mass Timber can help us tackle current social challenges. Through many years of hands-on experience, Alejandro has become a champion for sustainable construction and simple yet effective structural solutions.
Tyler Davis, PHD, MTC Solutions
Dr. Tyler Davis currently holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on materials. He is an expert in magnesium alloys having presented at international conferences and published many peer-reviewed manuscripts. His professional experience began in building development working on sustainability and project management, becoming an expert in Green Building Design and Life Cycle Analysis. From there he moved into mining and minerals, managing the development of a novel metal extraction process that involved niche engineering design, hands-on construction, and operational management of the facility. Tyler’s role at MTC Solutions includes leading innovative projects and developing industry-driven process improvements
Giulia Natalini, Pre-Construction Specialist, Western Archrib
Giulia brings a wealth of knowledge in mass timber engineering. With a Civil Engineering degree and a MASc in Mass Timber Engineering from UBC, she has pushed the structural engineering boundaries of mass timber floor systems. As a Pre-Construction Specialist at Western Archrib, Giulia transforms complex project requirements into precise estimates, while building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and industry partners.
