Sleep out so others don't have to!
Beacon's Solidarity Sleepout is a powerful way to raise awareness and critical funds to support people in our community who are experiencing homelessness.
Join us on June 5th at 5pm until June 6th at 8am on the greenspace at First United Methodist Church in Bloomington. Participants will choose to sleep outside for one night to stand in solidarity with those who don’t have that choice. By asking their friends and family to sponsor them, participants will raise essential funds for Beacon's emergency shelter, which is the largest year-round emergency shelter for women in our area.
Let's acknowledge the realities of homelessness and inspire empathy and action as we come together to build a community where everyone has a safe place to sleep and the support they need on their path home.
