BEACON BRIGHT FEST is a community event featuring fun & educational activities for children, a health fair, vendors, and health workshops.
About this Event

The BEACON BRIGHT FEST is a community event organized by the nonprofit, The BEACON Institute, in partnership with the Kershaw YMCA. The event will feature:

• Fun outdoor activities for children (bounce houses , obstacle, carnival games, etc.)
• Educational workshops for children, such as a teddy bear clinic and science exploration activities ().
• A health fair where providers will share information to help improve health
• Vendors selling delicious foods and amazing products.

The event is free to attend, parking is free, and admission into the health fair is free. Though the event is free to attend, in order to participate in the outdoor activities, families must buy activity tickets from the ticket booth (in the same style as a fair or carnival).

The goal of the event is to raise funds to The BEACON Institute, which provides mini grants for various initiatives including education, disability support, health & wellness, and veteran support to name a few.
