Beaches Organic Community Garden, located in the east side of Jarboe Park in Neptune Beach, hosts an open house and public workday on the first Saturday of each month. Our workday lasts from 9am-noon, weather permitting. Everyone is welcome to come out, have a look around, and chat with the gardeners. Volunteers are always welcome to work on group garden projects, or just mow, water and W**d.
Children are always welcome and there are activities in which they can participate, from painting signs to planting seeds and watering plants.
Dress comfortably for outdoor work- hats, gloves if you have them, close-toed shoes or boots- and bring water to drink.
