Beach Volleyball VBV39, Bronze W / Final W, Olympics 2024

On 9 August the final Olympic medal draw for women's beach volleyball will take place at the Eiffel Tower Stadium as part of the 2024 Olympic Games https://tickets-paris24.com/paris/events/226181.

24 women's teams will take part in the Paris 2024 tournament between 27 July and 10 August. The recognised heavyweights in the sport are the USA and Brazil. At the 2024 Olympic Games the Brazilians are aiming for revenge for Tokyo 2020 while the Americans are looking to add to their gold medal haul. 

All teams participating in the tournament are divided into 6 groups of four each. They will play one game per group. After three games the best 16 teams will qualify for the play-offs where quarter-finals semi-finals and two main matches of the tournament will be played: for the third place and the final. Tickets for beach volleyball among women's group will give all fans of this sport unforgettable emotions and joy from the victory of your favourite team.

We would like to remind you that in the TOP-10 of the best volleyball pairs of the world there are several pairs of Brazilian national team: Barbara/Carol and Duda/Ana Patricia. The favourites for these Olympic Games will be the USA pair of April Ross and Alix Kleinman who won gold at Tokyo 2020. Australian pair Talika Clancy and Mariafe Artacho del Solar were the silver medallists then. At the 2024 Olympics teams from the Netherlands Poland Italy and Germany could well be contenders for top honours.

As a discipline beach volleyball was added to the Olympic Games in 1996 in the men's and women's categories at the same time. In the first tournament 18 teams were entered with two Brazilian teams playing for gold: Jackie Silva and Sandra Pires against Monica Rodrigues and Adriana Samuel. Australia's Natalie Cook and Kerri Potthust won the bronze medals against the American team. Teams from the USA and Brazil share the lead in medals won with Australian athletes third in Olympic medals.
