Beach Volleyball at Woodbine Beach
Toronto summer has about 4 good weekends left. Let's not waste one.
Pickup beach volleyball at Woodbine Beach. Saturday Sept 05, 3pm to 6pm.
No experience needed, no team needed. Just show up.
WHO THIS IS FOR
People who have never touched a volleyball, people who played in high school and miss it, and a few people who are genuinely good. We mix and rotate teams so nobody gets stuck on the sidelines and nobody gets steamrolled. If you come alone you won't stay alone for long.
A lot of us work in tech, design, startups and creative work around the city, so it's half pickup game, half meeting people you'd actually want to know. Women and beginners especially encouraged.
HOW THE DAY RUNS
3pm: Find courts, warm up, easy rallies
4pm: Rotating games, teams mixed by level
5pm: Keep playing or walk over to the boardwalk for food and drinks
6pm: Keep Networking, done
WHAT TO BRING
- Sunscreen (sand reflects, you'll regret skipping it)
- Water
- Clothes you don't mind getting sandy
- A friend if you want, not required
