In this beginner-friendly workshop, local artists Alexis Rhoades of 43 Artisan Co. and Brandon Borgia of Borgia Artistry Studio will guide you through the process of creating your very own beach glass mosaic necklace pendant and coordinating pair of earrings.
You'll begin by exploring an assortment of naturally tumbled Lake Erie beach glass, selecting your favorite colors, shapes, and textures to arrange into miniature mosaic designs. We'll talk about composition, color combinations, and how to thoughtfully arrange each little piece of glass to create something uniquely yours.
Once you're happy with your designs, we'll introduce you to the process of setting your beach glass mosaics in crystal-clear UV resin, carefully preserving your arrangements and curing your pieces to create beautiful, finished jewelry.
The best part? You'll leave with a complete, handmade jewelry set that's ready to wear and show off before you even walk out the door!
