Join us for a fun day at the beach then finish up our day science and music! Here is the description from the Sand Dunes Website!Friday June 21 - Join Mary Ann Best from the Miller Beach Water Safety Social Group and the Great Lakes Water Safety Consortium on Friday, at the Visitor Center as she share tips on how to stay safe in the big waters of Lake Michigan. Learn about beach hazards that swimmers can anticipate and how to prepare yourself for a safe day at the beach. This family-friendly event has tips and activities for beachgoers of all ages activities for kids. Mary Ann is an open-water and ice swimmer.
Where: At 5:30pm Join us in person at the auditorium in the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center (Dorothy Buell Memorial Visitor Center). Come for the science but stay for the songs - the Music Heritage Series Concert that starts at 7:30pm

Feel free to grab your camping gear and camp for the weekend!
Don't forget your beach gear, sunscreen if you use it, food ( coolers) and fun.
There is a shower house at West Beach.

If you have a 4th grader, disabled, elderly, or in the military you can head over to the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center in Ottawa(Utica) and grab your pass for free admission to all National Parks. Here is the link for more park admission passes because there is a fee to enter West Beach.
