Be the Change: Community-Engaged & Experiential Learning Symposium

Attendees will:

• Network with faculty and staff from various institutions around the topic of engaged and community-based pedagogies.

• Explore engaged pedagogies including Study Away/Study Abroad, Service Learning, Community Engaged Learning, Culturally Responsive Teaching & Learning.

• Discuss ways to utilize these engaged pedagogies in classes, programs and in the co-curriculum.

• Engage with faculty and staff at various institutions and consider ways to increase the use of evidence-based practices and their impact on student success.

• Consider how these pedagogies might be implemented in local contexts in classes and programs at various institutions.

Registration opens at 9:30 am. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
