RCS to Host Be R.E.A.L. Conference Featuring Brett Kunkle
Rejoice Christian School (RCS) is excited to announce its third annual Be R.E.A.L. Conference on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. in the Middle School/High School Auditorium. This year’s keynote speaker will be Brett Kunkle, founder and president of MAVEN.
MAVEN is a movement dedicated to equipping the next generation to know truth, pursue goodness, and create beauty. With more than 25 years of experience working with junior high, high school, and college students, Kunkle has devoted his career to helping young people build a deep and lasting faith.
Kunkle pioneered a unique model of mission trips that extend beyond traditional service projects by immersing students in apologetics, theology, worldview, and evangelism. These immersive trips—held in locations such as Berkeley, California, and Salt Lake City, Utah—challenge students to engage in real conversations with real people, addressing real-world questions.
In addition to his work with MAVEN, Kunkle serves as a Teaching Fellow at Impact 360 Institute, was an associate editor for the Apologetics Study Bible for Students, and co-authored A Practical Guide to Culture: Helping the Next Generation Navigate Today’s World. He holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics from Talbot School of Theology. Kunkle and his wife live in Southern California with their children.
The Be R.E.A.L. Conference was established to provide students, families, and the broader community with practical tools and biblical insights to navigate today’s culture with confidence and clarity.
