WGVU Public Media is bringing Be My Neighbor Day back to West Michigan, and this time we're headed to Zeelmania in downtown Zeeland for a free, family night you won't want to miss.
Be My Neighbor Day is a beloved community tradition inspired by the legacy of Fred Rogers and the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. It's a celebration of kindness, empathy, and what it truly means to show up for the people around you. For generations, Fred Rogers reminded us that each and every one of us matters, and that being a good neighbor is one of the most powerful things we can do. We're carrying that spirit into our community this summer.
PNC Grow Up Great® has championed West Michigan's youngest learners since 2004, investing in the early childhood years that shape everything that comes after. Together, we're bringing that shared commitment to life right here in our neighborhood, because every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and loved.
Zeelmania lights up downtown Zeeland every Monday night in July with free, themed family fun, and on July 13 we're joining the party. Come early, stay late, and soak up an evening built for the whole family.
