Be Love Longmont: Envisioning the Beloved Community
The Beloved Community Coalition of Longmont is honored to welcome Dr. Vonnetta L. West of GoWest Consulting and The King Center in Atlanta for an immersive experience focused on building a more just, connected, and thriving community.
Together, participants will explore the principles of the Beloved Community, deepen their understanding of nonviolence and belonging, and engage in meaningful dialogue about how we can create lasting change in Longmont. This workshop is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and collaborate with neighbors, leaders, and community members who share a vision for a community rooted in love, justice, and belonging.
📅 Dates: Friday, July 10 & Saturday, July 11, 2026
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM each day (includes a 90-minute lunch break)
📍 Location: Longmont City Council Chambers, Longmont, Colorado
Participant Commitment
To ensure the strongest experience for everyone involved, participants are asked to:
✔ Attend the full two-day workshop
✔ Complete pre-workshop videos and readings that will be provided upon registration

❤️ A suggested donation of $75 helps cover workshop expenses.
