Be Hear Now returns to Mothership Studios for another Ambient Sound Bath Experience, with DJ Phil Smart creating a sound bath journey set on four decks, played over a big, warm sound system by Prion Audio at this converted warehouse in Marrickville.Phil will be joined by DJ Melo, who'll be bookending the sound journey with a nice, ambient warm down set before, and bringing everyone gently back afterwards.
There will be soft cushions and rugs for you to lay down on, with decor courtesy of Leisure Disco Decor, and feel free to bring anything else you might need to make yourself comfortable... yoga mats, pillows, bolster, eye mask, whatever you like.
If you wish, you can also bring something special to place on the altar at the front of the space for the duration of the experience.
During the 2 hour warm down set, you are welcome to bring along anything you may wish to do while listening... like draw, crochet, make art, read or write, and low level conversation is ok.
During the sound bath, silence is expected as everyone lays down for the experience.
Afterwards, as we re-enter back into the space, you are welcome to hang around to listen, chat and share your experience.
Set times:
6-8pm: Ambient warm down with Melo
8-9.30pm: Sound bath set with Phil Smart
9.30-11pm: Gentle re-entry with Melo
