About the Film:
Be About It follows two men who were both infected at birth, and the impact chronic hepatitis B infection has had on them and their families. The documentary, directed by Christopher Wong and created with support from Gilead Sciences as part of their Hep B Smart program, aims to end the silence associated with hepatitis B by encouraging families to talk openly and dispel myths about living with the virus.
Take part in a community forum with two local public health leaders, Vivian Huang, MD, MPH and Dr. Kwan-Gett for a discussion about health equity and how all of us have a role to play in combating hepatitis B in Seattle and nationwide.
