Be A Voice Toastmasters Open House
About this Event
Be A Voice Toastmasters is a community-based organization where members are encouraged to find their voice, build confidence, and create meaningful impact through public speaking and leadership opportunities. Through mostly in-person meetings, along with a few online opportunities during the year, we speak, connect, grow to help one another become stronger voices in in our personal, professional, and community spaces.
To celebrate this new beginning, you are warmly invited to attend the Be A Voice Toastmasters Open House on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:00 Noon at Russett Library, Community Meeting Room, 3501 Russett Common, Laurel, MD 20724. This inaugural meeting is an opportunity to experience our club’s renewed energy, meet our members, and see how Toastmasters can help you grow as a speaker, leader, and communicator.
We are excited to welcome Dr. Glenda Dickinson as our keynote speaker for this special occasion. The meeting will begin with a team building exercise, followed by an inspiring educational program focused on recommitment, rediscovery, and re-energizing our voices. After the meeting, you are invited to enjoy light refreshments and a special music listening experience dedicated to our new club founders. We will also have door prizes and swag bags for new members who join during the open house.
So, whether you are a past Toastmasters member, new to Toastmasters, or simply curious about becoming a more confident speaker and leader, we would love to have you as our guest at this upcoming meeting. Thank you for considering our invitation. We hope you will join us as Be A Voice Toastmasters begins this exciting new chapter.
