Join us for the “Be A Light Walk-a-thon!” where community members can create or join a team and commit to a fundraising goal to support Light Hill's important mission. On Saturday April 25, teams will take turns walking for 4 hours--mimicking the 4-hour shifts our hands-on care volunteers commit to in order provide 24/7 care to our terminally-ill residents at no cost to them or their families. There will be plenty of games and activities throughout the event to keep you shining bright both on and off the walking course. We’ve partnered with FLCC to host this event indoors, so we’ll be on rain or shine!

- All participants must be registered by March 6th to receive a t-shirt. There is a $25 non-refundable fee due at time of registration.
- A minimum fundraising commitment of $100 is required. Funds must be turned in BEFORE 7pm on April 24th to be counted toward prize totals.
- Participants will have a personal fundraising page online to share and accept donations. All checks received must include name of participant in memo to be counted toward their goal.
- Participants under the age of 18 must have at least one adult (25+) as part of their team.
- Liability waiver must be signed. Adult signature required for minors.

This is a fun walk, not a race or longevity event! It is intended to be accessible for all ages and activity levels. Those with health concerns or limitations are encouraged to participate as you are able, knowing your own limits. The team aspect allows for folks to take breaks as needed. Water & snacks will be available throughout the event. If a reasonable accommodation can be made to help you participate, please reach out.
