Bedford Drama Company is delighted to announce that the 2026 'Radio Play In a Day' will be...'Legends of the Round Table' written by Samuel Burridge.
Get ready for an epic adventure with a comic twist.
The workshop/auditions will take place at 1pm -5pm on Sunday 18 January. The directors will pick their casts. Rehearsal times will be arranged throughout the day at the Place Theatre before the final performance at 7.30pm on 25 January.
There are three stories requiring three separate casts:
-Gawain and the Green Knight
-The Quest for the Grail
-The Death of Arthur
There are lots of ways to be involved, from larger spoken roles, several smaller roles, and also roles creating sound effects at the live performance. We are looking for performers with all levels of experience. Come along and get involved. Camelot awaits!
This is always a fun event. It's a great social occasion and a chance to dip your toe into live performance. Audiences always love it too.
