BCYF Livestock Auction

A long-standing tradition and a rewarding, yet bittersweet event for many is the Market Livestock Auction Sale on Friday night. For exhibitors, it marks the end of months-long work, culminating in the sale of their market animal, with the opportunity to earn money for future education needs, or funding next year’s project.
For Buyers, the sale is a great way to invest in local youth, with the purchase of a market animal. Some chose to have it processed for personal consumption, while others chose the resale option. Many buyers purchase multiple animals! If you’re new and interested, come check it out!
