BCT Friday Toddler Playgroup

Come and join the BCT playgroup Friday Afternoon playgroup. It is a perfect opportunity to relax and chat with other adults while your little ones burn off some energy. This playgroup is suitable for children and babies of all ages.

The BCT Friday playgroup meets from 14:00 -16:00 at the Quartierzentrum Iselin (30 im Westfeld, 4055 Basel) in the Middle Room. Facilities includeone playroom with toys including puzzles, cars, dolls, and more. There is a small kitchen area available and snacks can be consumed inside the playroom. Benches and tables will be made available. Please don't use the tables outside of the room.

The playgroup is suitable for children ages 0-5 and their parents. The group is flexible and you are welcome to come late or leave early as suits you and your little one. There is plenty of free play and a short a singing or story time each day.

The playgroup is easily accessible by buses 36 and 38.

BCT Playgroup Rules

1. Please support the BCT. Non-members are welcome to 2 free visits per playgroup. Afterwards please purchase a membership or pay 5 CHF per visit.

2. Please register for the playgroup via Eventbrite ahead of time. This helps us stay within room capacity limits.

3. Photo Policy: Avoid taking photos with other children in the background. Do not post photos of other children on your personal social media accounts, WhatsApp chats, etc.

4. You may come late or leave early as suits your little one’s schedule.

5. Tidy a few toys before you leave. The BCT is volunteer run.

6. Eat only in designated areas.

7. Remove your shoes upon entry to the play areas

8. Take dirty nappies out with you (Tues. Thurs., and Fri. groups)

9. Parents are responsible for their own child.

BCT playgroups should be a safe place for all children. If a child behaves in a way that is harmful or dangerous to others, the BCT reserves the right to suspend the child from BCT playgroups as deemed appropriate by a BCT committee member.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that the event is subject to cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, such as inclement weather, illness, or other emergencies. We will make every effort to notify attendees via email as soon as possible if a cancellation becomes necessary. Please make sure you provide a valid email address. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
