BCPL Presents Learn Henna: Build Your Own Design Workshop
In these workshops, participants learn to build their henna designing skills using your instructor's preferred application tool, the henna cone.
At the beginning of the session, participants will be guided through a number of warm-up design drills to engage their hands and build their muscle memory.
After warm-ups, participants will receive interactive instruction on how to create a number of new design elements or motifs using henna.
Finally, participants will be challenged to create their own freehand designs using one or more of the elements learned in class.
The workshop requires hands-on participation, and participants are expected to work alongside their peers to create unique pieces using fresh, natural henna on paper or acrylic practice boards.
No experience is necessary to join the workshop, and participants of all skill levels are encouraged to jump right in.
