So often self-care and mindfulness take a back seat in life, but for individuals living with a mental illness or poor mental health, these practices are necessary. Learn new techniques to help improve your self-care routine and receive some new resources to try out.

Everyday stressors can impact our ability to celebrate successes, express gratitude, and engage in what makes us happy. Positive Psychology acknowledges life's difficulties, and focuses on fostering satisfaction, connection, and meaning to enhance well-being and celebrates the human ability to heal and thrive.

Info: Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a collaborative, person-centered counseling approach designed to help individuals explore and strengthen their own motivation for change. Rather than directing or persuading, the clinician uses empathy, reflective listening, and guided conversation to help clients identify their goals, resolve ambivalence, and build confidence in making meaningful behavioral changes. MI is commonly used in substance use treatment, healthcare, and mental health settings to support lasting, self-directed change. It can be applied to a number of different changes and transitions throughout the lifespan.
