BCMA End of Year Production 2026: Stepsisters’ Lament

An unexpected BCMA take on the story we all know about Cinderella & her Stepsisters, taking us beyond the ball to discover what really happens after the “happily ever after.”
Stepsisters’ Lament explores the story beyond the fairy-tale ending, delving into identity, family, jealousy, resilience, sisterhood and the courage to choose your own path.
Through music, dance and storytelling, we discover that perhaps “happily ever after” isn’t a destination at all. It isn’t somewhere you arrive; it is something you are able to choose, and something you journey through.
Join us for BCMA’s Annual End-of-year Production, featuring 430 talented students showcasing Musical Theatre, Voice and Dance.
With two spectacular performances on Saturday, December 5th, Stepsisters’ Lament is a celebration of creativity, friendship, resilience and the joy of performing, a magical experience for audiences of all ages.
TICKETS ON SALE 9am MONDAY 2nd NOVEMBER
