Who’s up for some mouthwatering barbecue, a little Christmas spirit, and a fun night out with some great people?
Join us on Tuesday, November 17, for a singles dinner and movie night!
We’re kicking things off with dinner at Kenny J’s BBQ, where we’ll enjoy some delicious, slow-smoked barbecue, good conversation, and plenty of laughs.
After we’ve satisfied our appetites, we’re crossing the street and walking over to Megaplex at The District in South Jordan to see the brand-new movie “Ebenezer,” starring Johnny Depp as Ebenezer Scrooge!
This isn’t your grandmother’s A Christmas Carol! Expect a darker, more mysterious take on the classic Christmas story we all know.
THE DETAILS:
📅 Date: Tuesday, November 17, 2026
🍖 Dinner: Kenny J’s BBQ
🎥 Movie: Ebenezer starring Johnny Depp
📍 Theater: Megaplex at The District, South Jordan
🕣 Movie Time: 8:45 PM
You're welcome to just come for the movie only as well. Meet in the lobby at 8:30pm to get your ticket.
🍽️ Dinner Meetup: 6pm
WHY SHOULD YOU COME?
Because getting out, meeting people, and making memories beats sitting home wondering what everyone else is doing!
Whether you’re coming with friends or showing up solo, you’re welcome here. These events are about bringing people together, making new friendships, reconnecting with old friends, and simply enjoying life.
And who knows? You might just meet someone who makes your heart grow three sizes that night! (Oops, wrong Christmas story. 😂)
A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:
Everyone will be responsible for purchasing their own dinner.
Venmo $9 to @doug-rutherford-1 to get your movie ticket to sit with the group.
Please mark yourself as GOING if you’re planning to join us so we have an idea of how many people to expect.
Come hungry, bring your sense of humor, and join us for a fun evening of food, friendship, and a little holiday movie magic!
Don’t be a Scrooge. Come join us!
