Beaulieu Grounds & Gardens:
Palace House:
Get a fascinating look into the Montagu family home. In an idyllic New Forest setting, overlooking the picturesque Beaulieu River millpond, Palace House was remodeled and extended during the 1800s and is now a fine example of a Victorian country house. Inside, its ecclesiastical heritage sets the grand gothic tone for a home bristling with character and adorned with family treasures, portraits, and memorabilia.
Grounds and Gardens:
Lose yourself in Beaulieu’s serene grounds and gardens, From the Mill Pond walk, the Victorian Flower and Kitchen Gardens to the Wilderness Garden and Alice’s Topiary Wonderland, their beautiful natural spaces have their own historical treasures waiting to be discovered.
Victorian Walled Kitchen Gardens:
A gardening highlight, explore these traditional gardens during your day at the Fair.
Beaulieu Abbey Grounds:
Walk in the footsteps of medieval monks who lived here over 800 years ago, as you explore the conserved ruins of this once vast medieval abbey.
Woodland Walk and The Millpond:
Step off the central pathway to enjoy views across the tidal Beaulieu River from this meandering route. You’ll pass ancient oak trees and thick reed beds, both home to a variety of New Forest bird life.
Little Beaulieu adventure playground:
Little Beaulieu is the perfect place for children to let their imagination run wild. Brand new in 2020, this wooden replica of Palace House is the perfect place for kids to burn off some steam. Highlights include secret passageways, epic climbing walls and an exhilarating zip wire.
The monorail:
Enjoy bird’s-eye-views of the Beaulieu grounds with unlimited rides on the ‘Skytrain’.
