The band features cover of Rhythm and Blues classic artists –
BB King, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Cream, Jeff Healy,
Bondi Cigars, The Doors, ZZ Topp, Peter Green,
We have been performing over the last 15 years throughout Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.
Having originally combined together as a 5-piece band called Slider Blues –
selected and performed at the Gympie Muster for three years and headlined in the Blues tent as well as performing at various festivals and venues – Including – The Easter Sandgate Festival, The Doo Bop Bar in Brisbane, Brisbane Jazz Club, Coolum Beach Hotel, Tewantin RSL, Hervey Bay RSL, Greenbank RSL, and many more.
Slider Blues morphed into various bands, including Lonestar Blues Band, Mad World Blues Band until finally arriving with BB & The Kings.
The Band is led by Bruce Bird on lead vocals and includes:-

Sean Taylor(Bassist)
Darren Evans (Percussion/Drums)
