Bayside Radio Theatre invites audiences to experience the beloved story Groundhog Day in a fresh and delightfully theatrical way with a live radio adaptation, performed before an audience at Dromhus. Based on the iconic film, Groundhog Day follows cynical weatherman Phil Connors as he finds himself mysteriously reliving the same day over and over again. This live radio play brings the story to life using actors at microphones, live sound effects, and period-style radio techniques—capturing the magic,
humor, and heart of classic radio drama. Audience members will watch the show being “made” in real time, as performers create characters and soundscapes right before their eyes. The result is an engaging, imaginative evening that blends nostalgia
