Bayou Region Career and Resources Fair on April 13 at Main Library
The Terrebonne Parish Library System, Louisiana Works, and the Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections, Division of Probation and Parole, have partnered to host the Bayou Region Career and Resources Fair this spring.
The Bayou Region Career and Resources Fair will be held on Monday, April 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Terrebonne Parish Main Library. The event is free and open to the public.
This regional event will bring together more than 50 employers from across the Bayou Region and will offer valuable career-readiness resources, including mock interviews, résumé workshops, and workforce guidance. These services are designed to help attendees strengthen their job-search skills and present themselves confidently to potential employers. Food trucks will be on site with refreshments available, and the enrollment van from Fletcher Technical Community College will be present to provide information and enrollment assistance.
Organizers are committed to making the Bayou Region Career and Resources Fair a collaborative community effort. By working together, partners are creating a welcoming, one-stop space where individuals and families can explore employment opportunities while connecting with essential local services, all in one convenient location.
