Come on out for Dressage and Cross County May 11, 2024 at Bayou Gulch Open Space! Parking will be in the CHP Western Complex (where parking once was for the one day tests). This will be an IMPORTANT fundraiser to earn the money needed to refurbish jumps as well as build new jumps for your Horse Trial! There will be schooling the following day, Sunday May 12!Bayou Gulch CT Saturday May 11, 2024!
Cross Country & Dressage Schooling

Info:
- Helmets and boots with heels required by all riders, including Western riders.
- Vest AND medical arm/wrist band for cross-country required if jumping.
- Western Dressage riders are encouraged to enter and ride the cross-country course “jumps optional” level to enjoy the cross-country/open space
- Bring your own pinny holder for xc numbers; Western riders can pin xc number on saddle pad or clothing.
- Dressage tests may be read.
Fees: Office fees are included in the following:
I. COMBINED TEST: $75
Starter: 2022 USEA Starter Test, Jumps optional up to -2’3”
Beg Novice: 2022 USEF BN Test A, Jumps 2’7”
Novice: 2022 USEF Novice Test A, Jumps 2’11”
Training: 2022 USEF Training Test A, Jumps 3’3”
II. XC SCHOOLING ROUNDS: $60 per round.
· If you enter the CT, then an extra XC schooling round is = $25
· THE HORSE MAY ONLY GO CROSS-COUNTRY TWICE (i.e. once at combined test and one xc schooling round; or two xc schooling rounds).
· CT entries may sign up for an extra schooling round on the day-of-event.
· Cross-country is not scored, but riders must yield to a passing rider, observe safety rules, and follow any instructions from spotters on course.
· Spotters on course will have the authority to stop an unsafe rider from continuing.
III. DRESSAGE SCHOOLING TESTS: $25 per test.
Choice of tests: - ALL TESTS IN SMALL ARENAS ONLY -
· 2023 USDF tests
· 2022 USEA Starter Test, and 2022 USEF BN through Prelim eventing tests.
· 2022 WDAA Basic Level Tests 1-4 and Intro Level Tests 1-4 only.
