Come join us Saturday June 1st to help clean up litter along Bayou Manchac!Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own kayaks/canoes. We will also have some boats available for use if you don't have your own. If you have your own boat, please email [email protected] so that we can keep track of seats!
Please only register for this opportunity if you are comfortable paddling and picking up trash out of a canoe. We will provide water and snacks, as well trash pickers, trash bags, etc., but you are welcome to bring your own.
Additional information, including a map, what to expect and bring, etc. will be provided the week prior to the event. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions in the meantime.
Volunteers must be 12 years or older -- children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult with prior approval.
