About this Event

What makes the Palo Alto Baylands habitat so special? How do the plants and animals survive the salty conditions? Why is it so different at different times of day or times of the year? How can we protect it?

Explore these questions - and more - with expert EV docents on a fun, low-impact hike around the Baylands.

For ages 6 and up. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

These walks are FREE but space is limited. Advance registration is strongly encouraged.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Exact location of where you'll meet your field trip leader may change a little, depending on weather and other events taking place at the Baylands. You'll receive a reminder email with specific meet-up instructions a day or two before you walk; make sure to keep an eye out for that!
