BAYCS x Youthpower Climate Action Policy Workshop

Young people can't buy solar panels or an electric car, and we're already recycling. But young people were crucial in passing the Make Polluters Pay Climate Superfund bill in New York. We can do that in California! It's only fair for fossil fuel companies to pay for the damage they've done. Youthpower Climate Action will share how we passed a resolution in the city of Alameda, and how you can pass a resolution in your city or school board. We will break into teams by city, building community and connections for youth in the climate movement.
