Join Bay View's Archivist, Elizabeth Nelson, to learn about the history of the Bay View Association as it celebrates its 150th anniversary! Nelson will cover the resort's history, the history of the nationwide Chautauqua movements, and Bay View's connection with the other summer resorts in the area. This presentation is part of the Historical Society's monthly lecture series, check their website for other upcoming talks.
Elizabeth Elvidge Nelson is an Archivist, Librarian, Historian, Musician, and lifelong learner. The Archivist for the Bay View Association, she is also the Director of Libraries/Archives at the Interlochen Center for the Arts.
