Event Location: Falls Polish Home, 27 Grove St., Chicopee, Ma 01020Located on the 2nd floor with no elevator access.
Doors open at 8am. Opening Ceremony will begin at 930 am. Junior & Adaptive competitors start at 10 am. World Record Attempts will start at 10 am and go throughout the morning.
Spectator fee is $5 (5/under free)

Concrete only

Concrete must fully separate to count
Partial cracks do not count

Stand & Backer Requirements
Breaking material will be placed on a solid 8โณ ร 8โณ ร 16โณ concrete block
A solid concrete backer must be placed directly behind the stack
Setup must be approved prior to competition
Legal Technique
Forearm Elbow
(also known as forward elbow or front elbow)
Strike must be a controlled, forward-driving elbow
Movement & Distance Rules
Up to two (2) controlled steps forward permitted
Movement must be linear and continuous
A maximum distance line will be marked on the floor
At the moment of impact, one foot must be on or in front of the line
Attempts
One (1) strike per declared attempt
No re-strikes
Once an attempt is taken, the result stands
Tie-Breaker & Record Procedure
In the event of a tie for the record, each tied record breaker gets a second attempt at raising the record.
If, after two attempts, no competitor has upped the record, the record is entered as a tie, with both names listed.
Prize money is divided among the competitors who tied.
To award the belt chain, the combined total from the first and second attempts is added together.
If still tied, the highest success percentage determines the winner.
