Join us for the opening reception of our first Open Call Group Show, Abiam Alvarez's Solo Show, and Gina Occhiogrosso's Solo Show on Saturday, January 10th from 4-6PM! This Group Show will be on view from January 10th through February 1st, 2026.We are thrilled to announce Cura Contemporary’s 2025 Open Call! This group show serves as a celebration of Bay Area artists and features both 2D and 3D work in a variety of mediums.

Cura Contemporary is an art center located in Morgan Hill, CA. The name Cura derives from Latin, meaning help or care, reflecting our commitment to supporting artists while enriching the lives of the people in our community. Our mission is to become an arts destination for the greater Bay Area and to invigorate the local art scene in the South Bay by creating opportunities for growth and connection.
We have two floors of exhibition space that alternate monthly with group and solo shows so there is always something new on display. Our roster of over forty artists includes both emerging and mid-career artists whose work has a strong sense of materiality and whose practices embrace process. The work is tactile, colorful, and unexpected across a wide mix of mediums including painting, photography, works on paper, textile, ceramic, glass, wood, and jewelry.
