Yes, connect with other filmmakers, creatives and community, but let's make it feel like we’re at home. Yes, let's have food and drinks, but without having to pull out your wallet . Yes, let's have a DJ and some music, but let's screen THE MACK while we're at it!

The Mack Mixer will take place at an outdooor location called "Regulars Only"

WHY THE MACK MIXER?

Bay Area Film Night is about more than screening films; we want to celebrate the stories and cultural classics that have come out of the Bay. For more than 50 years, Oakland's The Mack has had an undeniable impact on culture around the world...and it still resonates today. The Mack Mixer gives us a chance to celebrate a Bay Area cultural classic while having a great time, and to spark a bigger conversation about the importance of telling authentic stories about the culture, from the culture.
