About this Event

About Us

Welcome to Bay Area Asian Social Hike (GenZ & Millennials), a small hiking community for Asian Gen Z and Millennials who enjoy fitness, nature, adventure, creativity, and meeting new people.

Hi, we are Kimmie and Linh! We are two close Vietnamese American friends based in Dallas–Fort Worth and Washington, DC. We started this group as a way to meet and connect with new people while traveling to the Bay Area, and to bring together people who genuinely enjoy hiking, exploring, and building new friendships.

Our community is especially welcoming to creatives, professionals, and content creators who want to connect beyond social media and professional networking. The goal is to get outside, have good conversations, explore beautiful places, and build genuine relationships along the way.

Hike: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Join us for a Saturday morning hike at Mount Tamalpais! This is a casual social meetup for Asian American Gen Z and Millennials looking to get outdoors, meet new people, and make new friends in the Bay Area.

Come for the hike, stay for lunch, and hopefully leave with some new connections. 🌿🥾

THE HIKE

We’ll meet at Dias Ridge Trailhead and hike together in the Mount Tamalpais area for approximately four hours.

This is a social hike, not a race. We’ll maintain a comfortable group pace and take breaks as needed. Participants should be comfortable with several hours of outdoor activity and come prepared for the trail and weather conditions.

LUNCH 🍜

After the hike, we’ll head to Kitchen Sunnyside, approximately a 10-minute drive from the trailhead, for lunch at 12:30 PM.

(Lunch is optional and everyone will pay for their own food and drinks)
